Healthy Bones At Any Age
Tuesday, December 12
7-8:10 p.m.
Christopher G. Zitnay, M.D.

Osteoporosis, a disorder that causes the bones to lose their strength and become brittle and fracture, affects both men and women. Postmenopausal women are the most likely group to suffer from osteoporosis. This common condition accounts for 1.5 million fractures a year in the United States. The good news is that in both women and men osteoporosis is treatable and even preventable. Join Dr. Zitnay, a board-certified endocrinologist, for a discussion of the causes and treatment of osteoporosis. Learn your risk factors and what you can do to maintain strong, healthy bones. A question-answer session will follow the presentation.
