Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Coat a 9-inch square baking pan with vegetable cooking spray. Set aside.
- In a mixing bowl stir together ½ cup canola oil, ½ cup firmly packed brown sugar, ½ cup natural applesauce and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Stir in 2 cups quick-cooking dry oats, ¼ cup chopped walnuts, 1/3 cup golden raisins, ½ teaspoon baking powder and 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon. Mix until thoroughly blended.
- Press batter evenly into the baking pan.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until edges or golden brown.
- Cool in pan. Cut into small squares. Store in airtight container.
Make 9-12 squares.
