#5 LOSE WEIGHT. Keep your waistline trim as you age. Watch portions and exercise very single day to make this happen. Occasionally pull out the tape measure to check your waist measurement. Gals should measure 35 inches or less and guys should be 40 inches or less.
#6 REDUCE BLOOD SGUGAR. Keep fasting blood glucose (sugar) readings between 70-100 mg/dl. Pre-diabetes and diabetes can damage the artery walls, making them more receptive to plaque build-up.
