To facilitate your treatment at the Martha Jefferson Neuroscience Center, you may meet with a Neuro Coordinator. As the coordinator for your care, she will share with you and your care partner everything you need to know along the way, from your initial treatment through rehabilitation.
Christi Hankle, CNRN
Christi has been practicing as a registered nurse since 1992. She started her nursing career at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio working solely in the field of neurosciences. Christi moved to the Charlottesville area in 1998, and worked in a variety of nursing roles at the University of Virginia Medical Center until joining the Martha Jefferson Neurosciences Team in October of 2009 as the Neuro Services Program Coordinator. Christi is a Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) and is currently working on her Master’s degree in Nursing Informatics. Christi manages our award winning stroke program, is our Spine Center Navigator, works with the neurosciences team to educate emergency medical service providers, provides community stroke education and is involved with Martha Jefferson’s outpatient Neuro Rehabilitation Center.
