Located in Northern Albemarle County, the Outpatient Care Center at Proffit Rd. provides a freestanding emergency department, imaging and lab services, and a primary care practice, all conveniently located to those who live or work in Northern Albemarle County, Madison County or Greene County.
When traveling on I-64, take exit 118 onto Route 29 North, towards the Charlottesville Airport. Stay on 29 North for about 10 miles until you reach Proffit Road, following the intersection at Timberwood Boulevard. Take a right onto Proffit Road, and Martha Jefferson Hospital Outpatient Care Center will be immediately on your left.
Traveling North on Route 29 near the Charlottesville Airport, take the right onto Proffit Road, following Timberwood Boulevard. Martha Jefferson Hospital Outpatient Care Center will be immediately on your left.
Traveling South on Route 29, you will come to an intersection with Airport Road to your right and Proffit Road on your left. Take a left onto Proffit Road, and Martha Jefferson Hospital Outpatient Care Center will be immediately on your left.

Located on the second level of the Outpatient Care Center at Proffit Rd., we welcome patients of all ages. The physicians in the practice are: John McGovern, William Murray, Andrea Tribastone, Cynthia Richards, Bryce Kellams and Margo Gill.
Recently named Best Family Doctors by Albemarle Family Magazine, Forest Lakes Family Medicine has four full-time physicians as well as a nurse practitioner.
