Join Our Team of Community Volunteers!
Volunteers are an integral part of Martha Jefferson Hospital and enable the staff to carry out the Caring Tradition that makes Martha Jefferson so special. From the smiling faces of the volunteers who greet visitors at the desks at the hospital entrances to the patient advocates who visit every patient to ask about their stay, volunteers communicate clearly that Martha Jefferson cares about its patients, visitors, and customers.
We value the individual skills and talents of the individual. Volunteers are matched up with meaningful positions at the Hospital and at satellite locations. We also provide benefits to our volunteers and recognize the contributions of volunteers.

Service Opportunities
We have many positions at Martha Jefferson Hospital and at our satellite locations which utilize the talents and skills of volunteers. However, "One Size Fits All" is not an approach that applies at Martha Jefferson Volunteer Services! Do you have a special talent or skill? Do you have limitations in schedule or challenges in your abilities? Do you want to work at home? We can often accommodate volunteers and customize the project to fit the volunteer. Volunteers can also be involved in projects on an on-call basis - from flower arranging to doing bulk mailing to organizing special events.
