Educational Assistance
Martha Jefferson encourages employees to continue their education because we believe that through continued development of our skills, our Hospital is able to provide the best possible care. It is the policy of Martha Jefferson to encourage and assist the employee by providing educational activities, as well as, financial assistance through tuition reimbursement. All full time and part time employees are eligible for this benefit after six months of employment.
Scholarships
Martha Jefferson has developed a scholarship/work program because of the desire to promote educational growth combined with a need to retain and attract qualified health care workers to meet the ongoing needs. This program is designed to provide financial assistance in return for the student agreeing to work for the Hospital after graduation. The Human Resource Department is authorized to offer a number of scholarships each year, which will vary based on the needs of the Hospital and the difficulty of maintaining and/or recruiting qualified individuals, as well as, the amount of funding available each year for the program.
Career Development Center
Martha Jefferson is committed to providing an environment of personal and professional growth; an environment of life-long learning. Our Career Development Center offers a variety of resources to provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge to keep up with the challenging healthcare environment. These programs are offered to all employees.
