Martha Jefferson Advancement in Profession Practice “MAPP” Clinical Ladder
A five-tiered clinical ladder recognizes and rewards clinical nurses for demonstration of advanced competence. Experienced nurses enter as a Clin II and may challenge the ladder in their first year.
Orientation with preceptorship
A guided orientation process on the assigned area with dedicated preceptors tailored for the individual needs of the new orientee.
Clinical skills lab/Computer Lab
Dedicated simulated practice area for teaching and validating nursing skills.
Continuing Education
Multiple opportunities exist for advancing nursing education. Education assistance/tuition reimbursement is available. On –site RN to BSN program.
