Jon earned his B.S. from the University of Pittsburgh and remained there for medical school. After completing radiology training at UVA and returning to Pittsburgh for a few years, Jon came back to UVA to assume the role of co-Director of the Division of Thoracoabdominal Radiology and the Division of Pediatric Radiology, as well as the role of assistant director of the radiology residency program. He joined CRL and the Martha Jefferson Medical Staff in 2005.

Dr. Mark Passarella received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and his medical degree from Georgetown. He completed his residency at Tulane in New Orleans. He has been with Urological Associates since 2003. He and his wife, Lisa, have two children ages 5 and 2. He is interested in stone disease, oncology and minimally invasive surgery/laparoscopy. In his spare time he enjoys skiing, boating and the outdoors.

Dr. Julian Fagerli received his undergraduate degree from James Madison University and his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical in Norfolk, VA. After his internship at West Virginia University in Morgantown, he completed a residency at the University of Pittsburgh. He’s been in private practice for eight years. He and his wife of 16 years, Nicole, have two daughters: Anna, age 9 and Caroline, age 7. His clinical interests include oncology, stone disease and infertility. When he’s not seeing patients he finds time for golf, hiking and fishing.

Dr. Lewis V. Owens has practiced Vascular Surgery at Martha Jefferson Hospital since 2001. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and received his medical degree from the University of Colorado. He completed General and Vascular Surgery training at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. Dr. Owens is board certified in General Surgery and in Vascular Surgery. His wife, Kelly, is a board certified OB/GYN and is in private practice in Charlottesville. They have four children. Being a Colorado native, Dr. Owens enjoys skiing and is acclimating to the Virginia slopes.

Dr. Harvey Laub practices family medicine at Crozet Family Medicine. He is renowned for his spirit and energy. Beloved throughout the community, he even has a fancy entree, Harvey’s Spaghetti, named after him at a popular Charlottesville eatery, Tip Top Restaurant.
