Helping people lead healthier lives is part of Martha Jefferson Hospital's mission as a community hospital. Education is an important component, and we provide a wide variety of programs and services each month.

To find a program or event of interest to you, visit our on-line calendar of programs and events.

The calendar is searchable by week, month, year or by keyword. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, e-mail us. Or, call us at (434) 982-7009 or toll free 1-888-652-6663.

We also provide two, staffed resource centers available free to anyone in the community in search of in-depth health and medical information.

HealthSource Library provides medical information written for the layperson. Our medical librarians will search a health topic for you and send the results to you free of charge. To request a literature search, fill out the request form or call (434) 982-8255.

The Cancer Resource Center is staffed by oncology-certified nurses and offers patients and families resources on cancer. To request information, call the center at (434) 982-8401.
