Cancer Center Programs
Programs designed for cancer patients and their families including education, support and exercise classes.
Movin' On

An exercise program for people who have or have experienced cancer. This course uses low-impact aerobics to improve physical stamina, strength and well-being. Classes are small and held in a private setting to assure confidentiality and greater comfort.

Free to all cancer patients and former cancer patients.
Please call for information.
 
Yoga

Experience the health and emotional benefits of relaxation and stretching through yoga.

Offered free to cancer patients.

Support Groups

The Cancer Care Center's Chaplain, Suzanne Hilton Smith, coordinates ongoing support for patients and family.

All groups are free.
For information, Call Mrs. Smith at (804) 982-8407.
Programs include:
Breast Cancer Support Groups

General Cancer Support Group: open to persons with any type of cancer
Coping With Advanced Cancer
Family Support Group: open to spouses, siblings, parents, adult children and friends of patients.
