The National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) recently awarded Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville a three-year accreditation. The NAPBC recognizes hospitals that are committed to breast health and improving the quality of care. The certification process examines program leadership, clinical management, research, community outreach, professional education and quality improvement.
