October is breast cancer awareness month, and as part of spreading the word, doctors at Martha Jefferson want to shed light on options for reconstruction for breast cancer patients. On October 17, as part of a national Breast Reconstruction Awareness Day, a talk will be held in Charlottesville to explain what options are available. In this week's CBS19 Healthwise segment, Dr. Victoria Vastine talks about why being aware of reconstruction options is so important.
The talk is free and open to the public. It will be held on October 17th at 6:30 p.m. To register, call Health Connection at (434) 654-7009.To read the complete story, click here
