Heart disease doesn't just affect men. Cardiovascular diseases, including heart attack and stroke, are deadly to women, too. In fact, heart disease is the leading cause of death for American women, with nearly twice as many women in America dying of heart disease, stroke, and other cardiovascular diseases as from all forms of cancer combined, including breast cancer.
